Prayer ChainPrayer is important to the spiritual life of our congregation. We have a Prayer Chain which is a network of individuals who receive prayer requests (cares and concerns as well as joys and praises), and pray immediately and consistently for each request.
Over 20 members of Berwyn United
Methodist Church have committed
themselves to intercessory prayer.
You may contact the Prayer Chain at any
time and know that your request will be
passed along immediately to those who
will commit your prayer to God.
I know not by what methods rare,Requests given to the pastor or the church office are passed along to the Prayer Chain and are listed in the Sunday worship bulletin. Names typically stay on that list for 3 weeks unless an update is received.
But this I know, God answers prayer.
I know that He has given His Word,
Which tells me prayer is always heard,
And will be answered, soon or late,
And so I pray and calmly wait.
I know not if the blessing sought
Will come in just the way I thought;
But leave my prayers with Him alone,
Whose will is wiser than my own,
Assured that He will grant my quest,
Or send some answer far more blest.
