Isaiah's Vision

Pastor Kevin Rutledge - 11/17/2024 10:00 AM

In this exploration of Isaiah's vision, we're reminded of our own encounters with God's holiness and the transformative power of saying 'yes' to His call. The passage from Isaiah 6 paints a vivid picture of God's throne room, with angels proclaiming His holiness. But the heart of the message lies in Isaiah's response to God's question: 'Whom shall I send?' Despite feeling unworthy, Isaiah's willingness to serve becomes a model for us all. We're challenged to confront our own feelings of inadequacy and recognize that through Christ, we too are made worthy to serve. This message encourages us to step out in faith, understanding that our role is simply to be faithful and respond to God's call, leaving the outcomes in His hands. It's a liberating perspective that frees us from the pressure of results and invites us to participate in God's work with confidence and joy.
