Prelude
Welcome
Call to Worship
One: Come — whoever you are, wherever you have been, however you have answered God before.
All: The God of heaven and earth, sea and land, calls us together.
One: The God of all is the God of all.
All: Every nation and people belongs to God.
One: God's love and God's call extends beyond all borders —
All: reaching even to us, and beyond us, bringing us to worship in spirit and in truth.
Opening Hymn
Amazing Grace UMH 378
Prayer of Confession
You are compassionate and merciful, O God, longing for everyone to live in your love. We confess that we are more attached to our ways than your ways. We claim to worship you while turning away from your instructions, or maybe doing the literal least we could do. We pretend not to know how to please you even as we carry on our hurtful ways. We hold on to our prejudices and refuse to allow that you might care for our enemies.
Forgive us, God, and turn us back to your way. Set our feet on your path, and tune our voices to echo yours, that together we might experience the vastness of your grace, grace that even comes to live among us in Christ, in whose name we pray.
Amen.
Words of Assurance
Leader: Hear the good news: Christ died for our sins and rose again that God may free us from the tyranny of judging others to live fully in the power of God’s grace. In the name of Jesus Christ, God forgives your sins and offers you a transformed future.
People: With God's help, we will live into our new identity as forgiven and reconciled people.

Offertory Prayer
O God, you call us to love you with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. We seek to focus on you as our highest priority. Help us to make lifestyle decisions based on your commandments. We, your kingdom-seekers, offer you this money as a means of placing you first in our lives. May these gifts provide ministries of love and compassion to our neighbors. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
