We all have moments we wish we could take back—times when fear got the better of us, when we stayed silent, or when we quietly stepped away from who we are called to be. In this week’s scripture, we encounter Peter in one of those moments. Around a simple courtyard fire, he denies even knowing Jesus. It’s not dramatic or loud—it’s subtle, human, and painfully familiar. But this story raises an important question:
What do we do after we fail? Do we stay stuck in remorse—turning inward, weighed down by regret? Or do we turn back in repentance—moving toward grace, restoration, and relationship?
This Sunday, we’ll explore the difference between remorse and repentance, and the surprising truth that even in our failure, God is already at work calling us back. Wherever you are on your journey—even if you come carrying something heavy—you are welcome here.
